Nathan Kaiser is admitted as an attorney-at-law in the Canton of Grisons, previously also in Hong Kong, Taipei and Berlin, and advises companies on cross-border issues and international market presence, with a geographic focus on Taiwan, Hong Kong and China. He has a personal as well as a professional interest in deeptech, fintech, and digitalization. Nathan further keeps busy as an investor, board member, and entrepreneur. He founded and managed a law firm in Asia (Shanghai, Hong Kong and Taipei) for twenty years, and subsequently was, among others, a fellow and later an affiliate at the Berkman Klein Center of Harvard University, the General Counsel of the Swiss SIX Digital Exchange (SDX), and the Chairperson of the Cardano Foundation. Born in Solothurn, Nathan studied law in Lausanne, Strasbourg and St. Gallen. After spending more than twenty years abroad, he and his family are now back in Switzerland and split their time between Zürich and Engadin. A husband and dad, in good weather he’s often seen on a bike, and likes to eat vegetables.
